Pastor Ricky Glenn was raised on a small family farm in Bay Springs, Mississippi. His upbringing continues to spark a love for the outdoors and agriculture. After completing his undergraduate, from the University of Southern Mississippi, Ricky took a job in rural Kentucky. It was in Kentucky that the Lord began to deepen Ricky’s understanding of truth and grace. This was a lonely time, but the Lord used this time to draw Ricky to himself and opening his eyes to Reformed Theology. Experiencing the hope and joy of the Gospel message stirred a deep passion in Ricky to help others to know Truth. Ricky is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson Ms where he earned his Masters of Divinity. Ricky, and his wife, Jenny, along with their three sons, Braden, Ethan, and Joseph live in Moss Bluff.
Jared has been a ruling elder at Bethel PCA since 2015. He is the husband to his wife (Elisa) and father of their six children (Joseph, Luke, Sam, Jude, Silas, and Ivy-Anne). Jared is a mechanical engineer at Sasol North America. He has been there for 15 years. He is a native of Lake Charles, LA. He and his family currently reside in Dry Creek, LA where they live on a small farm. There, they enjoy raising chickens, turkeys, and rabbits. They also like to keep a spring and fall garden. Jared is committed to living out the gospel of Christ while not separating the gospel from a good theology.
Jason is married to Heather and they and their four children- Edie, Emilia, Sam Daniel, and Sophia- reside in Lake Charles. When Jason’s not spending free time with his family, he enjoys spending time with friends, enjoys college football and is a die hard LSU Tiger fan. He also enjoys traveling and while he still thinks he can play basketball, he sticks to kayaking instead. Jason recruits physicians to move and work in Lake Charles and feels this vocation is carrying out a mission to help those in need.
Ben Hogue has been a deacon at Bethel Presbyterian Church since 2014. He and his wife (Kristie) have three children ( Toler, Watson, and Mary Hazel). Ben is a forester for Molpus Woodlands Group, where he manages timberland in the Dequincy area. He and his family live in Moss Bluff, La. They value friendships developed in the church and the community and desire to see Christ’s kingdom grow in Lake Charles.
