Our worship service is held at 10:50 AM each Sunday.
Children of all ages are welcome in our worship service. For those who desire, nursery care is provided for children up to 4 years. Older kids might enjoy our sermon coloring guides located on the table inside our foyer. It's a great way for parents to review the truths of God's word!
Worship is the highest calling and greatest privilege of God’s people. The only thing the Bible says that God seeks is people who will worship Him in Spirit and truth (John 4:23). Clearly, God places a high priority on His worship. Therefore, corporate worship on the Lord’s Day is the central ministry of Bethel Presbyterian Church. Everything else in the life of the Church flows forth from corporate worship.
We look to the Bible for the principles, practices, and patterns for our service. Worship is not a spectator sport, but rather a dialogue between God and His covenant people in which we honor Him and He blesses us. Therefore, congregational participation is a key element in worship. Our printed bulletin guides us through the service. As an important element of worship, we celebrate the sacrament of the Lord's Supper weekly.
Please join us for worship as together we meet with God and celebrate the grace He has shown us in Jesus Christ. You are also invited to stay for the fellowship meal that follows our worship service each week.
The united testimony of both the Old and the New Testaments is that God’s house is to be a house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7; Matthew 21:13). Prayer undergirds and informs every ministry at Bethel Presbyterian Church. We have an internet prayer loop through which members share emergency prayer requests. Various prayers punctuate our worship service, and prayer is an integral component of our small group meetings.
In addition to these venues for prayer, we have a monthly corporate prayer meeting following the worship service on the first Sunday of each month. All our families are encouraged to attend and to participate in this time of sharing and prayer.
Parish Groups are small groups of Bethel members and friends, united by geographical proximity, who gather on a regular basis for fellowship, prayer, study, and local ministry and outreach. They are excellent venues for deepening relationships between corporate gatherings of the whole church each Lord’s Day and for spurring one another on in lives of faith and good works.
A Women’s Discipleship Study meets weekly to help women in the church and community build solid relationships of love and encouragement for one another in living out the Christian faith. Women study together and support one another through prayer and accountability. Please check the announcements section for up to date information on the current study. In addition to these studies, women are actively involved in ministries of mercy and hospitality under the oversight of our Deacons.
In the Great Commission, Jesus commanded His disciples to take the gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). In obedience to that command, Bethel supports missionaries serving in South America, Africa, Europe, and the United States. We’ve also sponsored occasional mission trips abroad as well as local service projects. Through praying, giving, and going, we promote the growth of the Kingdom of God in our community, our nation, and the world.
